The following is a list of terms that the student may see in the Motive Power – Hoist Inspection digital learning experience (DLX). If these words are unfamiliar, it may be helpful to look them up beforehand, although many of them could become clear through practice in the DLX. This is not a complete list of all Automotive Hoist terms, just some that may not be immediately clear.
