Guide: During the Digital Learning Experience:
- When students begin the digital learning experience, they will immediately begin the
inspection process. They are guided step-by-step through the excavator inspection,
receiving prompts at the bottom of the screen for each step of the inspection.
Colored highlights will appear when the select the appropriate area for inspection.
- It is not possible to proceed from the current step until that step is completed.
Students will receive immediate feedback at each step, and a summary checklist
can be viewed at the end of the completed inspection.
- Students can mute various sounds by using the “Settings” button at the bottom left
of the screen.
- Upon selecting the correct choice, students will need to choose the ‘Next
Inspection’ button in the lower right corner of the screen to go to the next task.
Recording Hours:
- During one inspection task, students will be prompted to record the Excavator
hours.
- They will view the screen with the hours shown in the bottom left corner.
- They will type this information on the checklist
- The Excavator inspection checklist continues onto another page by selecting the large
blue arrow on the top right of the checklist.
- The bottom of the checklist contains the fill box where students enter the excavator
run time hours. Students must select the large blue arrow at the top right to view the
bottom of the checklist that contains the fill in box.
- The bottom of the checklist fill box where students enter the excavator run time hours.
- After selecting the large blue arrow at the top of the screen, the fill box becomes visible, so students can type in the hours.
- They will select 'confirm' after entering the hours to be able to proceed to the next inspection.
- All students will be able to review the list of completed inspections at the end of the
DLX.
